Colourful Crumplebury Wedding | Bristol & Cotswold Wedding Photographer
Liv & Chris got married at Crumplebury, a new venue to my books and what an amazingly modern, stylish and cool wedding venue it is. Nestled in the countryside between Worcester & Herefordshire its the perfect mix of stunning views over the countryside and modern, chic design.
L&C got married in September on a slightly drizzly day, meaning they had to move their ceremony plans slightly, so instead of the outdoor woodland ceremony they opted to move indoors to Crumpleburys Art Gallery with views over rolling hills and with beautiful vaulted ceilings letting in tonnes of natural light. Liv wore a stunning Whistles wedding dress and had a bright, bold bouquet of seasonal flowers that really showed the couples sense of fun. After an emotional ceremony and extra colourful confetti throw the couple and their guests relaxed with some drinks served from the boot of a vintage VW Karmann Ghia, before some group photos with family & friends.
Then Liv & Chris and I explored the grounds and all the cool spots around Crumplebury for some couple portraits. We'd discussed beforehand that they wanted a mix of casual candid-style ones with some super fun stylish ones too, which is a mix I always encourage & lean into!
Dinner was served and the menu was incredible, Crumplebury is known for its excellent food and approach to seasonal produce. There was a kids corner and a very relaxed feel to the reception which was perfect for this chilled couple! After dinner there was a beautiful sparkler tunnel for the couple who got engaged on fireworks night surrounded by sparklers. The couple had a beautiful cake brought out in the evening, they left it up to Perfect Cake Co to design it and she made this incredible blue lambeth cake complete with GOLD cherries... I'm obsessed!
It was amazing working at Crumplebury for the first time and I can't wait for my next adventure as a Crumplebury Wedding Photographer. Being a modern Cotswolds Wedding Photographer has its perks and getting to work with such amazing couples at super cool venues like Crumplebury is definitely one of them.
