Chic & 70s Old Gore by Yard Space wedding | Cotswold Wedding Photographer
Can you imagine a more perfect setting for a wedding than Old Gore by Yard Space in the heart of the Cotswolds? The unique barn, flooded with natural light, stunning outdoor space, and mouthwatering food, provided the backdrop for Charlotte and Ross's awesome retro inspired wedding day.
Charlotte walked down the aisle in a floaty 70s inspired wedding dress, with dried flowers scattered in her hair, and was the opitomy of a chic bride. The ceremony, bathed in natural light streaming through the massive doorways, was absolutely beautiful and a photographers dreamy. Despite the unpredictable English weather, the couple and their guests made the most of every moment, finding shelter inside or under the metal shelter whenever needed. (*side note, the shelter outdoors is an amazing additional space for when the weather isn’t totally on your side)
When the weather cleared, we took advantage of the beautiful grounds for some group photos and couple portraits. Just in time before the heavens opened again, signaling it was time for dinner. And let me tell you, the menu at Yard Space is nothing short of amazing. With Baz and Fred at the helm, renowned for their incredible pizzas and menus, it was the perfect way to settle everyone down with sharing plates and amazing meats cooked over an open fire.
As dinner wound down and the beautiful sunset over the Cotswolds, the dance floor was ready for guests and Tux Fizz got the party started with their amazing live band & ultimate playlist of bangers. Charlotte and Ross's retro dance floor, complete with Deloris the disco ball which you can hire from Yard Space, set the perfect vibe for the night… even Nana & Grandad couldn’t resist getting up to shake it! The perfect day was topped off with evening pizzas served from the hatch to top up the energy level from all the epic dance moves… Charlotte & Ross were the first to dig in *scroll down to see them tucking in!
