Stunning Sunset ceremony at The Roman Baths | Bath Elopement Photographer
This stunning couple decided to tie the knot during the magical sunset hour, and let me tell you, it was absolutely breathtaking.
Polly and Tom are such an awesome couple, and they knew exactly what they wanted for their special day. They couldn't resist the traditional grandeur of the backdrop that Bath Abbey and the historic Roman Baths provided, so they decided to have their intimate ceremony right there, surrounded by their closest family members. The Roman Baths is such a unique venue, steeped in history but also a completely private little haven nestled right in the centre of town with all the iconic buildings surrounding it. Polly and Tom really wanted to capture the sense of the venue in their photos, as well as getting some more classic photos in the setting.
But Polly and Tom also wanted to incorporate some less traditional elements into their wedding photos. So, after the ceremony, we hit the streets of Bath for some unique and modern flash photography portraits. It was such a blast capturing their free-spirited energy against the backdrop of this historic city. I love when couples think outside the box and let their personalities shine through in their photos!
Once we were done with the portraits, Polly and Tom decided to celebrate by going out for cocktails, which is where i left them to enjoy the rest of their night celebrating to the small hours with just their favourite people!
Being a photographer allows me to be a part of these incredible moments, and I feel so honoured to be able to capture the epic memories of couples like Polly and Tom. Elopement photography is such a unique and intimate experience, and it's moments like these that remind me why I fell in love with this art form in the first place.
