The day kicked off in pure style with Jessie getting ready with her wedding crew in the beautiful Somerset countryside. Surrounded by her besties, the prep was full of laughs, bubbly, and a few emotional moments (because, let’s be real—wedding mornings always bring out the feels). Jessie looked effortlessly glamorous in her Vivienne Westwood-inspired short dress, paired with Jimmy Choo heels that every bride dreams of. The mega chic look was topped off with a full-length veil that gave her bridal look all the drama and Vivienne Westwood jewellery that add a little edge.
Meanwhile, Matt was getting suited up with his brother and dad. The vibe was laidback but filled with excitement as the guys shared a few laughs before the big “I do.” No pre-wedding jitters here, just some good old-fashioned brotherly banter.
The next stop? Bath Guildhall! This place is iconic, and Jessie & Matt made sure their ceremony was just as iconic too. Forget any idea of a traditional walk down the aisle, because Jessie’s wedding party kicked things off with a hilarious dance routine that had everyone laughing and clapping along. It set the tone perfectly for the fun and colourful day ahead. And let’s not forget about the confetti best man—talk about a showstopper!
The ceremony itself was full of laughter, love, and happy tears. It was laidback and totally reflective of the couple’s vibrant personalities. Once the official "I dos" were said, it was time for the real confetti moment. Outside the stunning Bath Guildhall, the guests showered Jessie & Matt in a rainbow of confetti, and it was one of those chef's kiss picture-perfect moments - the key was they had tonnes of Your Confetti paper disc confetti for their guests to take big handfuls of.
After the ceremony, I whisked Jessie & Matt off for some stunning wedding portraits around the beautiful streets of Bath. The golden afternoon light paired with the city’s historic charm made for the most incredible backdrop. There’s just something magical about capturing a couple in their wedding outfits against Bath’s iconic Georgian architecture!
While we were off snapping photos, the guests hopped on a big red bus (always love a wedding bus!) to the reception, set in an exclusive venue nestled in the Somerset hills complete with outdoor swimming pool. The atmosphere was full of summer vibes and sunshine so glorious you could easily mistake it for Tuscany, with guests greeted by refreshing cocktails and canapés.
Jessie & Matt went all out with the personal touches that made their wedding day truly unique. Jessie’s talent for design was on full display—she crafted all the stationery and signage herself, adding a thoughtful, creative edge to the day’s décor. And ooooh, the cake. It was a vintage-inspired masterpiece adorned with bright florals, almost too pretty to eat (almost).
But perhaps the best part of the reception was the tombola— complete with a life-sized cutout of TV legend Alison Hammond, the tombola had everyone up and out of their seats. It was quirky, unexpected, and honestly, the most Jessie & Matt touch ever.
