Colourful & Chic Cotswold Wedding | Cripps Barn Wedding Photographer
I recently had the absolute pleasure of photographing Alice and James' extraordinary wedding at Cripps Barn in the Cotswolds. From the moment I arrived, I knew this was going to be something special!
I started my day capturing a morning of getting ready with Alice and her closest friends and family, they danced around the kitchen, belting out their favourite songs, and I captured some fun photos of them with their wedding day newspapers. Alice’s crew were so fun and they really brought the right energy to the wedding prep photos! One of the most emotional moments of the morning was when Alice did her reveal to her dad and bridesmaids, I’m not sure there was a dry eye in the room, even her flower girls ran to give her a huge hug.
The outdoor woodland ceremony was bathed in June sunshine, creating a magical light and atmosphere. Alice’s sister’s colourful signage added a special touch, while Sorori Design & Events' stunning florals and decor transformed the space into a whimsical wonderland. As Alice walked down the aisle to acoustics by Cotswold Wedding Guitarist, James was getting emotional and the whole moment was so special to witness.
The reception was crammed full of amazing details - with vibrant decor and florals bringing Cripps Barn to life in the sunshine, the delicious canapés & live guitar and illustrators all bringing an amazing ambiance to the drinks recepetion. Followed by wedding breakfast before a surprise appearance of singing waiters (organised by Alice’s mum) which put everyone in a party mood, with people dancing on their chairs and waving their napkins it definitely got this crowd started
This wedding had it all… beautiful florals, chic wedding decor, a crowd that was ready to party at any given moment and a couple who were so lovely that it would’ve been impossible to have anything but the best day! It was amazing to be back photographing a Cripps Barn wedding, the Cotswolds is such an incredible places for a wedding and I can’t wait to be back again soon.
