Colourful City Elopement at Bath Guildhall | Bath & Cotswold Elopement Photographer
On a sunny April day in Bath, Charlotte and Ariel, with their closest family, eloped in Bath city centre, and what a day it was!
They got ready together at the beautiful Gainsborough Hotel, before making their way to the hotel bar for a few drinks with their families where I met them to start photographing their day. From the Gainsborough they started the short walk up the historic high street in Bath, past the Abbey to the classic Guildhall building where the registry office is.
Charlotte was dressed in an amazing short blazer-style white dress with feather trim and Ariel was in a teal suit, but what really rounded off everyone looks on the day was the bright pink dried flowers from Flowers by Blomme that were in Charlotte’s bouquet, all the button holes & the flower girls headband. Little details like this, along with the matching hot pink shoes & bright blue earrings, are what really make a wedding style unique and can be what makes your wedding day feel much more “you”… these two prove that perfectly!
After the ceremony, and an amazing & bright confetti shower, the couple & their families went for drinks at The Architect just around the corner before I whisked the couple away for a little couple portraits in the city. The iconic Bath stone buildings are hard to mistake, so we didn’t need to go far to capture some absolute magic in the late afternoon, before the group headed off to dinner at Bosco where I left them for the evening…chilling and eating amazing food.
Charlotte & Ariel’s elopement was a lovely, chilled day that celebrated both sides of their families, and incorporated colour and joy but in the traditional backdrop of the city of Bath.
